Clennell Hall is located in Alwinton, within the peace and tranquillity of the Coquet Valley. We can offer a complete Wedding Service individually tailored to your needs, whether you require a romantic Civil Ceremony, a traditional wedding breakfast, an evening wedding reception or day-time or night-time buffets, you can rest assured in the hands of our professional wedding team.
Clennell
Hall is a large 13th Century attractive stone-built hall, which
creates an extremely comfortable and luxurious country house while retaining
many original architectural features providing guests with a perfect hideaway
for a relaxing break and an ideal wedding venue surrounded by magnificent
views, sheltered gardens and wildlife.
The Wedding Hall has its own separate grand entrance it is available for Civil Wedding venues, providing paramonic views over the gardens. The registry table is positioned in front of the huge bay window and an isle is provided between two rows of chairs. It represents an historic setting with traditional furniture, tapestries and artwork adorning the walls, high paneled ceilings and a large open fireplace providing a charming centerpiece for the Hall.
Overlooking
the grounds, the magnificent function room, located upon the first floor,
provides a beautifully presented room for wedding breakfasts with its ornate
high ceilings, panelled décor, crystal chandeliers and rich furnishings.
Alternatively a marquee can be placed on one of the lawns, depending upon
the numbers involved.
Clennell Hall can provide optional extras to compliment your special day from the customary photography/videography and floristry to ice sculptures, a caricaturist, a piper and fireworks as well as the wedding day transport or horse-drawn carriage.
