Clennell Hall Hotel Country House Hotel is located within the peace and tranquility of the Coquet Valley in Alwinton. An ideal venue to get away from it all, the Hotel is a paradise for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits and is an excellent base for exploring the Cheviot Hills, the spectacular Northumbrian coast, castles and gardens. It is located in the unspoilt countryside upon the Pennine Cycleway (Route 68) within the Northumberland National Park.

Recently reopened and refurnished, the large 13th Century attractive stone-built hall, creates an extremely comfortable and luxurious country hotel while retaining many original architectural features providing guests with a perfect hideaway for a relaxing break and an ideal wedding venue surrounded by magnificent views, sheltered gardens and wildlife.

The great Hall with its own separate grand entrance is available for Civil Wedding venues, providing paramonic views over the gardens. The registry table is positioned in front of the huge bay window and an isle is provided between two rows of chairs. It represents an historic setting with traditional furniture, tapestries and artwork adorning the walls, high paneled ceilings and a large open fireplace providing a charming centerpiece for the Hall.

Weddings A ClennellOverlooking the grounds, the magnificent function room, located upon the first floor, provides a beautifully presented room for wedding breakfasts with its ornate high ceilings, paneled décor, crystal chandeliers and rich furnishings.

MAKING A BOOKING

Step 1 - To discuss requirements, check availability or to make a provisional booking simply ring the Hotel on 01669 650377 to speak to the Wedding Co-ordinator.

Step 2 - Make a Provisional Booking. This is a temporary booking which will be held for two weeks, after which the booking will be released if no confirmation is received.

Step 3 - To confirm the Booking, the Hotel requires a non-refundable deposit of £400 together with a signed copy of our "Terms & Conditions", which can be found at the end of this wedding pack, indicating initial requirements. The Hotel will then issue a receipt and confirmation of your booking.

Step 4 - The Hotel will contact you no later than six months prior to your function to arrange an appointment to discuss your requirements in detail. The Wedding Co-ordinator and hotel staff are always available to assist with advice and information.

Step 5 - The Hotel will require final numbers two weeks before the function when an invoice will be presented for payment seven days prior to the wedding.
